YAMAHA YCL450M Bb CLARINET

The YCL450M intermediate clarinet is constructed of Grenadilla timber but with the benefit of Yamaha's Duet+ technology The “Duet+” treatment is a thermoplastic resin applied to the upper joint of the instrument bore making the instrument more durable and less susceptible to the effects of humidity and temperature. The YCL450M also features straight tone holes with tapered undercut, an adjustable thumb rest with strap ring and silver plated nickle-silver keys. It also features a second register valve tube which improves pronunciation in the second register. Whereas the YCL-450 needs sufficient air pressure for good response, the YCL-450M offers great response, even with low air pressure, making it easy to play even for children.
