The  DTX10K series from Yamaha features stunning real Birch wood shells equipped with your choice of either Mesh drumheads or Textured Cellular Silicone pads and the DTX ProX module with upgraded, innovative and hi-resolution drumkit and cymbal samples with on board kit modifying abilities to quickly and easily customize your perfect drum kit. With the extended ability of 30 preset drum kits including the PHX and Recording Custom kits, 200 User Kits with AMBIENCE, COMP, and EFFECT KIT MODIFIER knobs that allow you to quickly create your own unique drum kit sounds, 733 Voices  and up to 1000 sample files loaded via USB, the DTX-PROX Module will give you access to realistic sounds for a performance, recording or rehearsal. USB to host, USB to device, L/R outputs and MIDI out provides all the access outputs to live PA, stage amps or digital recording devices with individual outpot sockets that can have up to 8 individual channels of audio, whilst AUX input will connect directly from your MP3 or any other audio output. The DTX10K includes a 12" dual zone snare pad, 10" dual zone tom pads, a KP128 (12 inch) Bass Drum Mesh head with Multi layer cushion, 13" dual zone Hi Hat pad, 13" and 15" 3 zone crash cymbal pads and generous 17" 3 zone ride cymbal pad, all decked out on the Yamaha RS10-HXR rack system, Yamaha Hi Hat and snare stands. The DTX10K-M Mesh version will include Remo's dual layered mesh heads for durability, noise reduction and rebound feel. The DTX10K-X version will include Yamaha's professional level Textured Cellular Silicone (TCS) pads for a durable, softer natural feeling pad.
