The Session 77 by Phil Jones Bass is a combo amp notable for a number of things, its powerful and clear sound, its light and compact footprint, and its budget-conscious price point. This 100W amp is equipped with two 7” speakers that have been specially designed by PJB for impressive low-end power and a 3” tweeter which combined with the 7s delivers a very full-range sound with excellent clarity. The S-77 features an Aux input for playing backing tracks, a 3.5mm headphone out for silent practice, and a 1/4” line out which will allow you to plug into a powered extension speaker if you need extra grunt at a gig. Due to its clear and full-range sound the Session 77 can be used for other instruments as well, like acoustic guitar or keyboard which is great for the multi-instrumentalist bass player.
