The Phil Jones Bass Compact Plus BG-450 represents the peak of the PJB line of itty-bitty bass combos that punch well above their weight in their quality and clarity of output. The BG-450 boasts 300 Watts of power when running through its 4 PJB designed 5” speakers, or up to 500 Watts when running into an 8 ohm external cabinet, giving you plenty of power to suit the vast majority of live situations. The default tone of this PJB amp is super punchy while still retaining the signature Phil Jones balance and clarity, and with the 5-band EQ you have more than enough control to sculpt your tone however you want. With its longest dimension being shorter than most bass guitar bodies at 36cm and being roughly half as heavy as your average tube head (let alone the cab) at 14kg the PJB Compact Plus well and truly crushes the power to size/weight ratio.
