Designed with Kirk's specific ingredients and playability, the LTD KH-V signature series provides both guitar purists and Metallica fans with a 'spected up' guitar that meets and exceeds all expectations. Featuring a neck-thru body construction with extra thin U-shape, 3-piece maple neck, korina body at 25.5" scale, Macassar ebody fingerboard with pearloid wave inlays, 24 extra jumbo frets, powering out Kirk's signature sound with his EMG Bone Breaker pickups switchable between the BB-B ceramic bridge pickup and BB-N alnico 5 neck pickups, delivering the ability produce both crisp, clean solo tones and full, powerful rhythm tones for more grunt, all controlled by volume, tone and 3-way selector controls.
