The J. Rockett Archer Ikon is a recreation of the legendary Klon overdrive pedal that’s been highly praised by tone connoisseurs for years now, used by players such as John Mayer and Jeff Beck to create iconic sounds. The Ikon uses germanium diodes which were part of what gave the original pedal it’s incredibly transparent sound which made it so sought after, however this pedal does have plenty of gain on tap to give you a punchy and warm overdrive sound if that’s what you’re after.
