The Multiscale construction of the RGD71ALMS 7 String takes the standard Ibanez scale length and fans it to 25.5”-27” keeping fantastic tension on the low strings, but keeping things nice and bend friendly on the top. In the electronics department the RGD71ALMS is loaded with the Fishman Fluence Modern pickup set, which complements the crystal clear yet earth shattering tone of this guitar perfectly, and offers two distinctly different sounds per pickup. In Modern Active mode, the tone is clear and tight, with a percussive low end and roaring midrange that make it perfect for modern metal rhythm players. The passive attack mode suits a more organic sort of tone and produces much more open and musical midrange, which makes it the ideal voicing for complex lead passages and big chords.
