The Horizon Devices Flux Echo is the result of two years of R&D, Misha Mansoor’s sizable collection of beautiful delays as well as community input and feedback, all culminating in a powerful little delay/reverb pedal that will work great with mono & stereo rigs and even instruments that aren’t guitar like synthesizers. The Flux Echo has a mix knob, which controls how much of the dry signal is blended in, a tone knob, which brightens up the sound of both effects, a knob which controls the decay time of the reverb and a knob that controls the feedback of the delay (allowing up to infinite delays). This pedal has a switch which controls the “Flux Mode” giving it 3 unique voices: a nice, washy reverb with clean delay repeats, a reverb that’s got a little bit of modulation and a reverse delay, and a shimmer reverb with a classic tape delay. The footswitch on the left is a tap tempo switch however if you hold it down it freezes the effect, meaning both the delay and the reverb will continue infinitely until you release the switch, whereas if you hold the bypass switch you can turn the effect trails on or off.
The Flux echo requires 300mA from a centre negative, 9 volt DC power supply and can't be powered by a battery.
