HORIZON DEVICES Clarity Compressor Pedal

The Horizon Devices Clarity Compressor has been designed to be the most transparent compressor for use with high gain guitar tones however through their efforts they’ve also ended up with a pedal that works really well for any instrument, even synthesizers. Horizon Devices have attempted to “take the guesswork out of compressors” by automating the attack and release controls that are usually on other compressors, allowing you to focus on other parameters to get the most out of your sound. The Clarity Compressor features Volume and Mix knobs, which control the output volume and dry/wet mix of the compression respectively, the Comp knob which controls how much the signal is being compressed, the Clarity knob which is a high end boost/cut, allowing you to dial in the exact amount of presence you need, as well as an intensity button which switches between a tighter compression and a more open one. Misha Mansoor of Periphery has said that the aim of the Clarity is designed to be your next always on pedal, having used it on every guitar track that was recorded for their album Periphery V along with the Horizon Precision Drive.
