The 1961 SG standard is the Archetypical Gibson SG and marks the very first year that this bold and radical guitar came to light. The lightweight and ergonomic Mahogany body and 60’s neck is a breeze to play, and the Gibson 61R and 61T pickup set allows for all of the 60’s rock and roll tones that this guitar can muster.
