The Enrico Student Plus Solid Top Double Bass Outfit features a high quality solid spruce top along with a maple laminate back and sides. The fingerboard and tail piece are made with tight-grained ebony. This combination of tone woods allows for a balance of affordability, tone and longevity, making it a brilliant choice for a beginner or a student. The ‘Da Gamba’ inspired style of the body helps to reduce wear and tear, particularly of the top plate. The bridge is height adjustable, allowing for more personalised styles of playing without having to visit a luthier to carve the bridge, achieving different dynamic responses between pizzicato and arco playing. This outfit includes the ESP Deluxe bass bag, a well-padded bag with 10 handles. The bag features a dedicated pocket for sheet music, as well as pouches for accessories, and a pocket for the bow - an FPS Brazilwood bass bow. Also included is an Enrico polishing cloth and name tag. The ¾ size of the instrument is typically suited for anyone over the age of 13 and into adulthood, though other sizes can be available upon request.
