The Earthquaker Devices Data Corrupter is one of Earthquakers’ more out there pedals, it essentially turns your guitar signal into a three voice synth. The first control, Square, takes your input signal and turns it into a square wave fuzz. The second control, Subharmonic, generates a harmony up to three octaves below your input signal. The third control, Oscillator, generates harmonies up to three octaves above. Using the three of these controls you can dial in any sort of wacky, corrupted, synthetic tones with the Subharmonic and Oscillator able to be tuned to different intervals.
