EARTHQUAKER DEVICES Blumes Bass Overdrive Pedal

The Earthquaker Devices Blumes is EQD’s first ever pedal that’s aimed specifically at bass players (however it will still work great on guitar). From the name you might guess that this pedal is a variation on the classic EQD Plumes pedal that guitarists know and love, but with double the gain of the original and an enhanced low-end response which will retail all of the wall-shaking goodness that you associate with bass. Just like the Plumes the Blumes has a switch which toggles between the three different clipping modes, from the more crunchy and less compressed Mode 1, to the wide open clean boost of Mode 2, to Mode 3 which is most similar to the original pedal the Plumes was based on but with way more beef, almost reaching fuzz-like territory.
