The DW DWSM2159 Mag Throw Off and 3P Butt Plate Combo is a heavy duty snare drum strainer system with the ultimate in smooth on/off action and 3-way wire tension guage. The DW Mag is a workhorse drop throw-off with a horizontal tension adjustment and smooth, easy-adjust action and gets its unique name from a clever magnet that's integrated into the body of the throw-off. When the handle is in the up position, it won't release without a slight tug. Comes complete with gasket and all mounting hardware. The innovative new 3P, three-position butt plate allows drummers to easily select three distinct preselected snare wire tension settings at the touch of a lever. Can be custom fit to most snare drums. Plated in heavy duty chrome finish.
