The Denis Wick Extending Tube Mute, also known as a "Harmon", or "Wah-Wah" mute, is an iconic mute, having been pioneered by jazz artists such as Dizzy Gillespie, and Miles Davis. Crafted from high quality aluminium, the extending tube allows for very diverse tones, however, it's most commonly heard with the tube completely removed for a 'sizzle' type tone.
