The Darkglass Anagram is the newest evolution in Darkglass’s bass effect technology, taking everything they’ve learned from their pedals and amp heads and creating the ultimate, bass-focussed multi-effects unit. The Anagram features the cutting-edge Neural Amp Modeler (NAM) software, allowing you to take the sound of your massive studio rig on the road in a tiny (21cm x 10cm and sub-1kg) package, or download a model of someone else’s huge studio rig. Darkglass have used all the experience from working on their Exponent 500 amp head into this unit, giving it all of the quality sounds of using a Darkglass amp and cab rig but with the advantages of a multi-effects floorboard. The large touchscreen display and Darkglass Suite integration allow for very deep customisation of your patches, allowing you to get as far into the nitty gritty details as you want to.
This floorboard features a robust suite of I/O, starting with a 1/4“ input, two 1/4” ports that can either be used as a send/return effects loop or alternatively a stereo insert and an input for an expression pedal, then a headphone jack out with three adjustable gain levels, followed by two XLR outs and two 1/4” outs allowing for use with monitors or stereo outputs if you’re using crazy delay patches, a USB-C to allow for you to use the Anagram as an audio interface or to edit patches on the computer, and finally 3.5mm MIDI in/out.
