CORT Elrick NJS White 4-string Bass Guitar

The Cort Elrick NJS 4 is the result of a continuing collaboration between cort and USA-based luthier Rob Elrick, with the goal of bringing his hand-made, New Jazz Standard model to a far more affordable price-point whilst keeping the same high standard of quality. Rob Elrick’s NJS design is essentially a classic J-style bass guitar but with a number of changes which bring the J right up to date with any other modern bass; the angled headstock allows each string to have a more balanced feel and sound than on a traditional headstock while the zero fret ensures that the string height on the lower frets is bang on every time even if you decide to change string gauges. The new VTB-ST single-coil pickups offer the warmth that you expect from a good J pickup but with the clarity you expect from a modern pickup, all without the noise of a vintage one thanks to its noiseless design and specially designed Bartolini pre-amp.
