The Cort Action Bass Plus is a souped up version of their Action PJ bass, featuring the same, classic P+J pickup configuration but with an active pre-amp and a beautiful glossy finish. The P+J configuration gives you the best of both worlds, the warm, punchy tone of the P pickup with the added bite and attack of the J pickup, while the pre-amp gives you the option of boosting or cutting the bass and treble, allowing for much more tonal variety than the standard Action series.
